Architecture in Ancient Near East. The object of the Archimedia project is
to allow students to understand what ancient buildings looked like and how they
were constructed. It does this by displaying numerous views, plans and
sections, as well as axonometric and computerized reconstructions of these
buildings. The project concentrates on buildings from Ancient Egypt,
Mesopotamia. It is organized according to each building, and includes a
description of its materials and building techniques, followed by a visual
comparison of all the buildings involved.
